Business Professional-Project Manager (Non-IT)

We are currently seeking a BusinessProfessional-Project Manager (Non-IT) for our client in the Professional Services domain. Duration: 24 Months Contract with high possibility of extension

Location: Houston, Texas (Should be comfortable traveling to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and all the expenses will be reimbursed by the client)

Salary: $65.00-$70.00/Hourly

Role Description: The Business Professional-Project Manager (Non-IT) must have 8+ years of experience. For this role, you must be a Project Manager (Non-IT) willing to travel to client sites approximately 80% of the time, including locations in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Responsibilities:

- Performing project controls (cost management, schedule management, risk) for a transmission and distribution mega-project.

Qualifications:

- Strong project management, presentation, client management skills.

- Project controls management – including cost, schedule, and risk management.

- Experience in Power and Utility company - specifically, Transmission and Distribution Construction Projects (highly preferred).

- Ability to use Primavera for scheduling.

- Can resource-load and interpret schedules.

- Performing project controls (cost management, schedule management, risk) for a transmission and distribution mega-project.

- Earned value management (EVM).

Role will be Hybrid - Remote with required travel to client sites roughly 80% of the time (locations resource will need to travel to: Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: 80% of the time (locations you will need to travel to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi)

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
