They identify needs, process purchase orders, maintain replenishment systems, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to meet technical requirements.
Responsibilities include cost, lead time, and inventory reduction initiatives, ensuring timely deliveries, and resolving procurement issues to support production schedules.
They also train staff, promote safety, and work with accounting on invoice processing.
Qualifications require a high school diploma, ERP system experience, and at least one year in manufacturing procurement. Preferred skills include a bachelor’s degree, replenishment systems knowledge, strong communication, analytical skills, and familiarity with Lean principles.
