Summary Statement
A variety of seasonal park positions are available at Cape Henlopen State Park, which may include the following:
• Campground Registrar • Store Attendants ($15.00)
Work is performed indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions. Applicants must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.
Essential Functions
Essential functions are fundamental core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class. • May collect appropriate rental fees • May register campers into computer database and generate reports as needed • May assist with maintenance and rental equipment • May perform grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, athletic field maintenance, landscape bed maintenance, trash removal, vegetation removal, leaf removal, and snow/ice removal • May perform custodial services in restrooms, offices, and other buildings • Provide excellent customer service and park information to visitors • Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and good communication skills • Must be able to work independently, willing to work in remote areas • Duties will vary for each position • Other duties as assigned

This is a Casual, Seasonal position, which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.
