Established in 1979, the Heart Center has more than 60 Cardiologists, seven Cardiothoracic Surgeons and three Cardiac Anesthesiologists. Physicians are employed by Huntsville Hospital Health System, the second-largest health system in Alabama. It is a not-for-profit organization with an excellent payer mix and a referral base of more than 170 primary care physicians.
The main office is located in Huntsville with six locations in the surrounding communities. We are recruiting for our offices in Guntersville, Athens, Decatur, and Sheffield, Alabama.

We are the dominant cardiology group in North Alabama, owning more than 90% of the market with an excellent payor mix. Physicians are employed by HH Heart Center, LLC which is a wholly-owned entity of Huntsville Hospital, one of the largest non-profit health care systems in the nation, serving all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee. This provides the group access to a large base of patients supported by a referral base of 170+ primary care physicians.

The position carries excellent compensation and benefits (health/dental/malpractice/disability insurance), 401k and 457(b) as well as full-time CRNP services

Athens is approximately 35 minutes from Huntsville International Airport.

Founded over 55 years ago, Athens-Limestone Hospital is a progressive, fully accredited 101 bed facility, offering a full range of diagnostic and patient services. Recently added services include a 30,000 square foot Wellness Center that houses Wellness Membership, Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.

Our Sheffield physicians practice at Hellen Keller Hospital, which is part of the Huntsville Hospital Health System. Founded in 1921, Hellen Keller Hospital is a 185 bed facility with a medical staff of more than 150 physicians and 1000 employees. The facility offers a wide range of diagnostic testing, including a cardiac catherterization lab. In addition to the hospital diagnostic imaging services, our clinic provides nuclear, echocardiography and PV testing for our patients.
