Job Description Summary:

The individual will provide support for social event clients. Administrative event support will include updating account, contact, trace, and event information in Delphi; updating BEOs contracts, floor plans, and other event changes and distributing updated information to appropriate departments; collecting payments; and communicating with event vendors. Other duties include filing; answering telephones; qualifying and distributing event and meeting leads; receiving and directing calls; responding to inquiries; researching issues when appropriate; and sorting and distributing mail. Facilitate tastings for wedding couples. The individual will be asked to provide the following essential wedding operations:

Job Description:

  • Run wedding ceremony and rehearsal
  • Oversee reception room set up
  • Receive items for the reception and hold them until the day of the event
  • Meet and greet the bride and groom upon arrival
  • Check the set up of ceremony and ballroom area according to the banquet event order
  • Set place cards on the table
  • Set programs favors, cake server, toasting glasses and guest book
  • Review schedule of events with all vendors for the event
  • Greet and direct guests to ballroom or ceremony location
  • Introduce and transition bridal couple to their banquet captain for the duration of the event

 The individual will also provide assistance to catering sales managers by conducting site inspections, when needed. Catering Services Manager may also assist with Group Rooms Coordinator duties in the occasional absence of the Group Rooms Coordinator.
