Seeking a Cerner FSI Interface Senior Developer/Architect for a healthcare project with locations in Denver, CO, Nashville, TN, and Chicago, IL (travel required quarterly for client meetings). The role is for a duration of 6+ months.
Responsibilities include managing the entire interface development lifecycle—from design, build, testing, go-live, to post-implementation support.
Conduct design reviews with clients, gather requirements, create design documents, and assist in interface development.
Coordinate with project teams for testing phases and implement interfaces such as registration/scheduling (ADT/SIU), Charges (DFT), Orders (ORM), Results (ORU), and Document (MDM/ORU).
Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot incidents, monitor interfaces post-go-live, and maintain related documentation.
Tools used include Open Engine, Open Port, Interface Explorer, and other Cerner tools.
Languages involve CCL, E-SQL, and XML, with databases like Oracle, PLSQL, and IBM DB2.
