Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
Prior to patient visit, prepare electronic chart and reconcile records as needed
Greet and prepare patients for physician appointment; obtain and record vital signs and other information required for the patient facesheet in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Order, record, and administer immunizations, when appropriate.
Print unsigned documents for providers and check order tracking throughout the day.
Draw blood, process labs, perform x-rays, and obtain non-invasive body fluid specimens
Under supervision of practitioner or nurse supervisor, administer approved medications and inform patients of lab results
Ensure the clinic operates smoothly and is well kept; prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment. Keep exam rooms clean, orderly and stocked. Dispose of contaminated items
Anticipate practitioner s needs for medications, supplies and equipment, and plan accordingly
Stay up to date with weekly/monthly internal communication emails and activities
This Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire opportunity pays $23-26 per hour and has openings in Bothell Totem Lake (Kirkland), Downtown Redmond and Redmond Ridge. About the Candidate We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program
Demonstrated ability to perform professionally and confidentially while strictly maintaining HIPAA guidelines
Must have a Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified or Medical Assistant-Interim certificate. If you have an Interim certificate, you must have your certified certificate before the Interim expires.
CPR certification preferred
