We are seeking a dedicated Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) to become a vital part of our surgical team. What Youll Bring:
- Proven ability to scrub liver recipient transplants independentlylast scrub experience within the past year preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of circulating and scrub experience in high-volume surgical settings
- Expertise in large open belly cases, including General, Urology, Thoracic, Gynecology, Plastics, Whipple procedures, Liver Resection, and Free Flap surgeries
- Strong aseptic technique and proficiency with surgical equipment
- Experience with DaVinci XI robotic system is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy OR environment, managing an average of 35 cases per day
Additional Skills That Will Set You Apart:
- Familiarity with transplant procedures, specifically liver transplants
- Versatility across multiple surgical disciplines
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CBSTS) certification
- At least 2 years of hands-on surgical tech experience in similar specialties
Other Requirements:
- Valid BCLS certification
- Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
- Availability for 40-60 hours of call per 6-week schedule, including holidays
- Additional certifications or experience with advanced surgical equipment is advantageous
