The Courville at Nashua is a Senior Healthcare Community in Nashua, NH. We are locally owned and operated and committed to providing personalized service and care. We’re looking for a part-time Cook/Chef to join our Culinary Team:
- 11:00a - 7:30p schedule
- Monday and Tuesday
- Every other weekend
- 24 hours a week
The ideal candidate will be eager to work, have a passion for food service, and demonstrate a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.
Job Description:
- Maintain in a clean and safe manner, including all supplies and equipment a
- Adhere to the work schedule
- Assist other members of the kitchen staff with meal preparation
- Serve our residents and their guests in a friendly, timely and courteous manner
- Assist in cleaning the dining rooms following meal service
- Prep materials for the next shift
- Wash dishes
- Assist with special events within the facility
- Prepare special orders from residents and their guests
Qualifications:
- Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
- Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state or local law
- Cooking experience, preferred; Training available!
