Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Process Engineer with a focus on Distillation to join our innovative Engineering team. This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in chemical engineering, particularly in the distillation process. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, controlling, and optimizing industrial distillation processes. This role requires a deep understanding of various distillation technologies, reactors, drum handling, and temperature control. Additionally, the candidate should have a good grasp of ERP systems, Delta-V automation systems, and a keen interest in alcohol/flavor production. This position requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in distillation or a related field.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and optimize distillation processes and equipment, ensuring efficiency and quality.
2. Monitor and control distillation units, reactors, and drum handling, ensuring optimal temperature control and safety.
3. Use ERP systems to manage production planning, materials management, and quality control.
4. Operate and maintain DeltaV automation systems to control and monitor distillation processes.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate production challenges and implement effective solutions.
6. Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in distillation technology and implement them where necessary.
8. Develop and implement strategies for the production of alcohol and flavor.
9. Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry OR Chemical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in distillation or a similar role.
3. Proficient in using ERP systems for production management.
4. Experience with DeltaV automation systems.
5. Strong knowledge of distillation process, reactors, drum handling, and temperature control.
6. Experience in alcohol and flavor production is a plus.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
