Job Description

We are seeking a motivated entry-level candidate (recent graduate or trade school student) to join our team as a Certified Environmental/Engineering Group (CEG) Technician Trainee. Work environments will consist of healthcare facilities, pharmacies, compounding labs, hospitals, cleanrooms, and others.

This role is designed for individuals interested in sterile compounding environments, cleanroom operations, and HVAC systems supporting regulated healthcare and laboratory facilities. We have extensive training and development and certification opportunities.

The selected candidate will receive hands-on training and be sponsored to attend sterile compounding certification courses. This position offers a career pathway into cleanroom certification, environmental monitoring, and specialized HVAC systems supporting controlled environments.

 

Core Responsibilities

Work Product Creation, Project Management, Coordination with Team Members

  • Assist with certification and testing of sterile compounding environments (USP <797>, USP <800>, and related standards)
  • Support HVAC performance verification in cleanroom and controlled environments
  • Perform environmental monitoring, airflow testing, and HEPA filter integrity testing
  • Document certification results and assist in report preparation
  • Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration compliance
  • Follow regulatory, safety, and quality procedures
  • Travel to customer sites as required
  • Participate in company-sponsored certification training programs
  • Effectively coordinate with other team members as requested or assigned, able to proactively monitor own progress on assigned tasks or projects, and ensure work product produced by self or in collaboration with other assigned team members is consistently high quality
  • Meet or exceed defined individual average utilization goals as set forth by company leadership
  • Coordinate and support other team members as assigned, with emphasis on positivity and in support of a culture that is empowered to execute
  • Travel as necessary to support client, employee, and leadership needs.
  • Support quality control of service delivery with all individual work product production, maintaining an excellent reputation of quality
  • Collaborate with other team members in a manner that assists with rapid identification and escalation to Supervisor of any client, team member or operational challenges

  • Conduct self and collaborate with others in working toward achievement of defined profit objectives of assigned projects

Qualifications & Competencies

  • 1 - 2 years of work experience
  • Trade school, technical school, or associate degree in HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical systems, or related field preferred
  • Entry-level candidates welcome
  • Basic mechanical aptitude required
  • HVAC coursework or hands-on experience preferred

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow technical procedures and regulatory standards
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and airflow principles
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in mechanical spaces and cleanroom environments
