The Team

We represent Hitachi Vantara to clients across various industries, establishing relationships to understand their challenges and deliver profitable solutions. Our team collaborates cross-functionally to ensure customer success, celebrating shared achievements. We seek energetic sales professionals with strong hunting skills and at least 7 years of experience in new account or business development, particularly engaging partner ecosystems to drive success.

In this role, you will develop account-specific go-to-market plans, leveraging market insights, customer events, product specialists, and your network to forge new relationships and close high-value deals.

The Role

  • Drive new business acquisition to foster revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to target and acquire enterprise accounts, proactively prospecting via cold calls, networking, and industry events.
  • Maintain CRM records and build pipelines with partners through identified and unsolicited bids.
  • Focus on closing new business outcomes.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Leverage ecosystem partners, such as Cisco, to enhance relevance and joint selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing satisfaction of new clients.
  • Track, analyze, and report on KPIs related to acquisition, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
  • Use data insights to refine sales strategies continually.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to identify new opportunities.
  • Engage in ongoing self-education about Digital Infrastructure to effectively communicate Hitachi Vantara's differentiators.

Qualifications

  • Experience in infrastructure, data storage, cloud, hybrid cloud, or data management sales.
  • At least 7 years of outside sales experience focusing on new enterprise logos and business development.
  • Proven hunter with a record of sourcing leads and leveraging social networks to access decision-makers.
  • Relationships with top VARs and integrators.
  • Consistent achievement of sales targets with documented key wins.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles using outcome and solution selling techniques.
  • Competitive, hardworking, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth, matrixed environments.
  • Collaborative, energetic, growth-oriented, creative, trustworthy.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office tools.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
