We arelooking for a Clinical Research Associate (Digital Health)who will be responsible foroverseeing and/or conducting physiology studies. This includes tasks such as organizing and executing human data collections toward the development, verification, and validation of externally and internally developed devices, prototypes, and/or algorithms. The incumbent will maintain the laboratory, may recruit and schedule subjects, and will design and/or execute study protocols in support of ongoing projects in the Health Solutions Lab. You will also work with contracted research organizations as a sponsor delegate to oversee clinical study execution. You will also author and maintain associated records (device inventory), protocols, data-analysis and other documentation as needed.

Roleand Responsibilities:

  • Develops product-critical physiological data-collection protocols and executes studies according to good laboratory practice, following applicable health and safety principles and practices.
  • Participates in subject recruitment, scheduling, and communications.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of laboratory best practices and procedures for efficient, cohesive, and high-quality datasets.
  • Creates and maintains appropriate study and human subject documentation/records.
  • Monitors the study progress and creates sanity checklist to maintain high data quality.
  • Operates and maintains physiological data collection laboratory equipment/devices/reference systems.
Required Experience and Education:
  • At least 1-2 years of industry experience working with mobile sensor technology/wearables.
  • At least 1 year of experience collecting human subject data for physiological sensor measurements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Research, Engineering or Science Field (Engineering preferred).
  • Understanding of basic statistics and physiology
  • Plus: familiar with IRB study approval, HIPAA requirements.

  • PC and Smartphone App (Android and iOS) skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applicable applications.
  • Analytical/critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and can lead projects with minimal supervision.

Operate a computer keyboard and view a video displayterminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolongedperiods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizinghigh visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, andmoderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performswork under time schedules and stress which are normallyperiodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines,intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and projectmanagement deadlines. May require working additional timebeyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
