Clinical Research Associate

- Role: Clinical Research Assistant
- Location: Onsite (5 days/week, occasionally 1 remote)
- Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension(s)
- Focus: Clinical studies supporting medical device and wearable technology development
- Pay: $45-$50/hr.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end clinical studies under IRB protocol
- Tasks include: protocol development, clinical documentation, training sites, data collection, and clinical data manual writing
- Work with investigational wearable sensor devices (hands-on use + setup)
- Validate features on devices related to sleep, cardiac, and hearing health
- Operate and maintain physiological data collection equipment
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of clinical research experience (academic or industry)
- Experience with human subject research, data collection, clinical protocols
- Familiarity with IRB and HIPAA compliance
- Experience interpreting physiological signals (ECG, PPG, SpO2, etc.)
- Strong documentation and medical/clinical writing experience
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in sleep research
- Engineering background (preferred)
- Matlab or Python skills
- Basic statistics knowledge
- Experience working with mobile sensors/wearables
- Exposure to: AWS, EDCs, Excel, MS Office, Teams
