Job Details

Job Title: Lead & CNC Machinists (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts)
Location: Oak Creek, WI
Multiple Openings Available

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists with expertise in large parts (5K lbs or more) or boring bar operations. You will set up, operate, and program Fermat/Horizontal Boring Bars and Milling/Drilling Centers, ensuring high-quality standards and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and program CNC equipment (Fermat/Horizontal Boring Bars, Milling/Drilling Centers), including editing G-code.
  • Train operators, monitor in-process quality, and provide follow-up support.
  • Construct simple tooling and fixtures.
  • Work from blueprints, 3D models, and GD&T.
  • Perform close-tolerance machining on castings and fabrications.
  • Utilize precision gauges and CAM software for programming and inspections.
  • Purchase tooling and assist in machine/tool problem diagnosis.
  • Perform daily machine maintenance and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of CNC Machining experience, including setup, operation, and programming (G code).
  • Strong knowledge of lathe operation, grinding, tooling, and working with horizontal boring mills.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, metalworking, and precision measurement.
  • Experience with close tolerance machining in a job shop environment.
  • Strong math and machining formula skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, (1st shift: 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
Overtime and weekend work may be required.
