Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs using MasterCAM software for various machining operations, including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.
• Create detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and operation sequences for CNC machine operators.
• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to determine the most efficient machining processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and improve product designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Implement and maintain standardized programming practices and procedures.
• Continuously improve CNC programming techniques and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC technology and programming techniques.
• Provide technical support and guidance to CNC machine operators as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in MasterCAM software for creating and optimizing CNC programs.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming languages.
• Extensive knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling, turning, and multi-axis operations.
• Proven experience as a machinist with hands-on operation of CNC machines.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with other CAM software packages (e.g., Fusion 360, ESPRIT, or Siemens NX).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with 5-axis machining and programming.
