Our Livonia facility is seeking a CNC Programmer in Livonia MI to develop 3, 4, and 5-axis high-speed milling programs for shop machines, improve manufacturing performance, and ensure consistency. The role involves creating CNC programs using NX and Vericut software, programming for hardened steels, electrodes, and plastics, and working on the shop floor. Responsibilities include preparing electrode drawings, modifying drawings per engineer instructions, maintaining quality standards, and producing technical documentation. Candidates must have experience with NX or similar CAD/CAM software, machine shop experience, strong blueprint skills, and knowledge of multi-axis programming, machining practices, and tolerances. The position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Travel for training is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and adhere to quality standards, including ISO 9000 / AS9100.
