This CNC Programmer role is designed for a high-potential individual aiming to develop expertise in complex machining within an advanced manufacturing environment.
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using TopSolid for multi-axis (3-5 axis) machining, supporting mill turn and live tooling operations.
- Support new part introductions, troubleshoot machining issues, and create process documentation to improve stability and repeatability.
- Work closely with machinists during setups, turning tribal knowledge into standard procedures, and identify cycle time reductions.
- Progress toward full process ownership and become a go-to resource for complex machining challenges.
Success is measured by: becoming the problem solver for difficult machining issues, improving program stability, reducing cycle times, and enhancing documentation.
Qualifications include: 3-6 years in CNC programming or advanced setup, experience with TopSolid or similar CAM, multi-axis machining, and supporting machine prove outs. Preferred experience includes mill turn or aerospace components.
Core skills involve CNC and CAM programming, multi-axis machining, troubleshooting, GD&T, and process development. Travel is not required. All applicants are considered regardless of protected characteristics.
