The CNC Programmer collaborates with manufacturing and engineering teams to develop effective programs, ensure machine uptime, and meet production goals.
They program using Mastercam for 2-3 axis mill/turn operations on various machines (Okuma, Hass, Mazak, FANUC).
Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and interpreting blueprints is required.
Responsibilities include tool/fixture selection, organizing programs and revisions, conducting first-run prove outs, and revising programs for improvements.
Candidates should have at least 8 years of machining experience with 4+ years of programming, a high school diploma (additional technical education preferred), and strong attention to detail and communication skills.
