This role provides programming support for machining parts, tools, or sheet metal on CNC machine tools, ensuring parts meet specifications and optimizing throughput.

  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Esprit CAM software for mills and lathes.
  • Support setup, fixturing, machining strategies, and tool selection for new products.
  • Assist operators during first runs and process stabilization.
  • Analyze methods and materials to contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through training and publications.
  • Support cross-functional tasks as needed.

  • Qualifications include completion of a related trades program or equivalent, with at least four years of relevant experience, proficiency in CNC programming languages and techniques, and knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. The position involves sitting, using hands for operation, and occasional standing or walking.
