As a CNC Turret Punch Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC turret punching machines. Your role will involve ensuring that parts are fabricated to precise specifications while meeting production targets. You will also collaborate with other team members to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turret punch presses.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality production.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery.
- Inspect parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with engineering drawings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
- Work closely with engineers and production teams to meet deadlines and improve processes.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turret Punch Operator or similar role in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine operations, tooling, and production processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality parts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Amada or similar CNC turret punch machines.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
