Collections Coordinator

Please note that this job will start 100% onsite in Denver, CO. Depending on your performance, you may be allowed to work 1 day from home eventually.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading distribution company to fill their open Collections Coordinator job in Denver, CO. To qualify, you have must have at least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar Collections role.

This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE job opportunity where you will earn $27.00 per hour. During the temporary period, you will be able to sign up for LHH's benefits programs (details below). When you are converted to a permanent employee, you will be eligible for this company's competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing AR aging reports and following up on past due accounts
  • Contacting customers for payment resolution over phone and e-mail
  • Working with the billing department and other finance teams to determine causes of delayed payments
  • Escalating issues as needed
  • All other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar collections role
  • B2B collections experience preferred
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate of $27.00
