The role involves creating 3D models and detailed drawings, collaborating with engineers and scientists to develop designs, and coordinating with procurement and manufacturing to ensure feasibility and compliance. Managing documentation using product data management tools and adhering to engineering processes are essential.
Requirements include a high school diploma plus 3+ years of CADD experience, proficiency in PTC/CREO, PDMLink, and GD&T, and the ability to obtain a DOE security clearance. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and experience with Model Based Design practices.
