This position supports the district’s STEM initiatives by ensuring high-quality Computer Science education across grade levels.
Reporting to the Computer Science Manager, the Content Specialist will design and facilitate professional learning for educators and leaders, develop curriculum understanding, and support implementation through coaching and reflection.
Responsibilities include building capacity among teachers and leaders, analyzing professional learning outcomes, and contributing to curriculum and policy development.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, valid teaching or CTE licensure, at least five years of classroom and leadership experience, and expertise in Computer Science instruction and adult learning.
Skills needed are strong organizational, communication, and technology abilities, along with a commitment to equity and district instructional goals.
