Position Summary:
The Logistics & Asset Management Associate is responsible for the accurate receipt, cataloging, staging, storage, and shipment of network and IT equipment within the Logistics and Asset Management facility.
This role ensures data integrity, supports staging and engineering operations, and maintains high standards of asset accountability throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities
Inventory & Asset Control
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming equipment against packing slips and purchase orders.
Catalog and label assets using warehouse management systems to maintain >98% inventory accuracy.
Perform accurate cycle counts, reconciliation, and documentation of variances.
Ensure proper handling and tracking of network equipment valued in the multi-milliondollar range.
Equipment Handling & Processing
Identify, classify, and visually inspect network routers, switches, optical transport equipment, servers, storage devices, telephony equipment, and associated installation material.
Assemble and disassemble modules, power supplies, processors, pluggables, and line cards following engineering standards.
Support configuration and pre staging activities for servers, routers, and network equipment.
Prepare deployment readiness kits in alignment with engineering and project specifications.
Follow ESD safe handling procedures at all times when working with electronic components.
Logistics Operations
Stage and prepare equipment for outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate closely with Inventory Control, Staging, Engineering, and Deployment teams to meet operational timelines.
Assist in loading/unloading freight using pallet jacks and forklifts.
Review and submit packing slips to Business Operations promptly.
Asset Recovery & Redeployment
Support the intake, evaluation, and processing of decommissioned equipment.
Assist in coordinating the redistribution or proper disposition of recoverable network assets.

Required Qualifications
02 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or shipping/receiving.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment (certification preferred).
Basic understanding of IT or network hardware (routers, switches, servers, etc.).
Familiarity with equipment interconnections such as fiber, copper, and Ethernet media.
Ability to work safely in an ESD controlled environment.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to lift 50%2B lbs and work in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling Cisco, Dell, Juniper, HP, or equivalent hardware.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or asset tracking software.
Knowledge of telecommunications, IP networking, or optical transport equipment.
Experience supporting staging, lab, or engineering operations.
