The Consortial Systems Librarian supports shared library systems and electronic resources across 17 Maryland institutions.
Reporting to the Head of Consortial Library Systems, this role provides technical expertise in systems like EZProxy and Alma/Primo VE, troubleshooting, and system administration to optimize workflows and integration.
It involves collaborating with consortium committees, managing user support via Jira and Salesforce, and developing policies and procedures.
The position requires a Master’s in Library/Information Science or related field, at least one year of library system experience, and strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience with EZProxy, Alma/Primo VE, electronic resources, and project management.
This is a faculty, non-tenure track, part-time position with a salary range of $68,000-$75,000, offering benefits and requiring background checks.
