The Construction Project Engineer will lead industrial equipment installation and facility projects in a manufacturing setting, managing projects from scope to completion while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Oversee equipment installation, modifications, and utility systems such as HVAC, conveyors, robots, and AGVs.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and vendors, managing contractors and field issues.
- Develop project scope, support negotiations, conduct onsite inspections, and ensure compliance.
- Support procurement, drive project momentum, and manage close-out activities.
Requirements include industrial construction/project management experience, hands-on knowledge of industrial equipment, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Flexibility to work off-shifts and weekends is needed. Preferred backgrounds include automotive manufacturing, electrical/controls, or automated systems experience. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and basic AutoCAD is required. The ideal candidate has a strong leadership presence, can drive schedules, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
