Construction Inspector I and II are responsible for inspecting roadway and infrastructure construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
They review plans, perform field tests using established methods, prepare detailed reports, and maintain safety protocols.
Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and relevant experience or NICET certification for higher levels.
Preferred certifications include ACI Level 1 and nuclear gauge safety training.
Must possess strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and physical ability to perform site activities, including lifting up to 70 pounds and working in various environmental conditions.
Flexibility for irregular hours and travel to project sites is required.
