As a Construction Inspector, you will monitor and document active transportation construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards. - Inspect and verify construction progress, document contractor activities, and track quantities for payments.
- Coordinate with contractors, project engineers, and agency staff.
- Perform materials sampling, testing, and create as-constructed sketches.
- Identify non-conforming work and assist with safety and environmental compliance.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including photos and sketches.
Requirements: High school diploma, valid driver’s license, relevant certifications (e.g., ACI, ATTI), and experience with transportation or roadway projects. Strong attention to detail and ability to work outdoors in various conditions are essential.
