This position involves working as part of a crew on various construction projects, performing general labor tasks such as hand excavating, well pointing, concrete work, grade checking, brush clearing, utility location, masonry, installing silt fences and tree barricades, cleanup, mowing, weed eating, manhole and pipeline cleaning, equipment maintenance, jackhammering, and trash pickup.
Responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, reporting safety concerns, maintaining jobsite cleanliness, securing the site during nonworking hours, and ensuring equipment is parked securely and accessibly. Additionally, the role involves monitoring erosion control devices, ensuring signs and barricades are properly maintained and reset as needed.
