Job Title: Content Operations - Content Curator II
-Any type of editorial knowledge, whether curation or web producer, digital strategist, social managers. Anything with program content that have used editorial judgment. Have experience where they've had to use their judgement in selecting content.
Type of content they'll be working on: Entertainment, young adults and cultural relevance. Some light news would be great. Emerging trends, a really great candidate would have worked in Tech, or a major media company.
Need to have a media diet and appetite
We are looking for an Audio Curator who can find and program creative and interesting audio content. The ideal candidate for this position should be able to identify engaging audio listening experiences that span across news, entertainment, sports, and health as it's happening or ahead of the curve. You should be able to identify audio content that would be well suited for an audio-only experience. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a track record of exercising excellent editorial judgment and working collaboratively with content partners and colleagues. Experience across a range of media platforms is strongly preferred, as is an understanding of digital audio curation.
Curate credible, entertaining audio content from a diverse set of publishers, public figures, and influencers
Identify cultural trends across a diverse spectrum of topics including news, health, entertainment and sports
Develop strategy and create plans for events and cultural moments
Collaborate with our product teams to improve user experience
Have the ability to occasionally work a weekend schedule as cultural events and news require
BA/BS degree or 4+ years of equivalent editorial experience
5+ years of work experience in a digital and/or news environment with a proven track record of editorial judgment
Deep experience in recognizing compelling content with a high potential to engage users
Experience with social media publishing platforms and digital strategy
Solid understanding of digital intelligence and tools that track online sentiment
