At Omni Fiber, we're expanding high-speed fiber networks that power communities forward. As we grow, we're looking for a results-driven Contractor Manager to oversee residential FTTH installation and repair partners across our markets.

 

This role is ideal for a hands-on operations leader who thrives on accountability, field engagement, and driving performance through metrics, audits, and strong contractor relationships.

What You'll Do

· Lead day-to-day performance of FTTH installation and repair contractors

· Serve as the primary point of contact for all contractor-related matters

· Monitor and manage KPIs including productivity, quality, rework, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency

· Conduct field audits, ride-alongs, and job quality inspections

· Manage onboarding, credentialing, safety compliance, and performance evaluations

· Address escalations including missed appointments, failed installs, repeat service calls, and customer complaints

· Enforce corrective action plans and recommend contract changes when necessary

· Review weekly invoicing and perform audit validations

· Partner cross-functionally with Dispatch, Network Services, Construction, and Customer Experience teams

What You Bring

· Minimum of 4 years managing contractor/vendor field operations

· Working knowledge of FTTH installation standards, drop placement, premise wiring, and CPE configuration

· Strong understanding of telecom safety compliance

· Experience analyzing performance metrics and implementing improvements

· Proficiency with scheduling, dispatch, and reporting systems

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and emergency situations

Preferred: 6+ years in fiber-optic telecommunications, ISP/broadband experience, multi-market contractor oversight, familiarity with field service platforms (e.g., Skedulo), and knowledge of fiber construction or basic splicing principles.

Work Environment

This role includes a combination of office and field-based work with frequent travel to contractor job sites. Outdoor exposure in varying weather conditions is expected.
