Our local client has an opening for a Controller to join their growing team. This is a hybrid- remote position based in Saratoga, open to both part-time and full-time candidates.
Responsibilities of the Controller will include:*Review financial information and/or data entry
*Software migration and/or systems integrations
*Reconciling balance sheet accounts
*Developing workflow processes
*Supervising client or staff accountants and/or bookkeepers
*Identifying and correcting existing problems and implementing best practices
*Other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Controller:*Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting
*5+ years of accounting experience, preferably at the Controller and/or CFO level
*CPA or CPA candidate required
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
*Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
*Detail oriented and deadline driven
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
