We are seeking an experienced Cook to prepare and cook a variety of dishes for restaurant guests.
You should be passionate about delivering high-quality dining experiences and have prior cooking experience. The role requires managing multiple priorities, working effectively in a team, and ideally holding ServeSafe or Food Handler's certification.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and clean food prep areas to ensure safety and sanitation
- Check food freshness, rotate stock, and monitor ingredient quality
- Maintain proper food storage and cooking temperatures
- Season and cook dishes according to recipes or personal judgment
- Stir or turn foods for even cooking
- Respond professionally to guest feedback
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant cook experience preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler's certification, or willingness to obtain
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours
