Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present meals according to prescribed menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Monitor food quality and consistency to maintain high standards.
• Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
• Collaborate with dietary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
• Assist in menu planning and recipe development as needed.

Requirements

• Previous cooking experience, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately.
