Job Summary and Qualifications

Coordinator Interventional Pulmonary (Respiratory Therapist - CRT or RRT). EBUS experience desired!
Schedule: Monday - Friday, typically 8am-5pm (with some early and/or late days as needed). No weekends! This person would also be able to do PFT's and could potentially float to inpatient care if they wanted to pick up more hours (this is a very flexible position!) 

The Interventional Pulmonary Coordinator (clinical and diagnostic respiratory therapist) is responsible for coordinating and performing high quality, patient-centered clinical support within the outpatient Lung Center in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. As a vital part of the patient care team, the Clinical and Diagnostic Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of diagnostic tests including but not limited to ABG sampling, pulmonary function testing, and robotic assisted bronchoscopies. This role collaborates closely with pulmonologists, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care, accurate testing, and proper equipment management. The Clinical and Diagnostic Respiratory Therapist supports the facility’s standards of performance and promotes the vision, mission, and values of the organization. Other duties as assigned. 

What qualifications you will need:

  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Care
  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Required: minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
  • Desired: experience with complex bronchoscopy assistance, specifically endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)
