Your New Role: 

• Position: Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care 

• Job Duration: Locums with potential for permanent placement 

• Setting: Urgent Care Clinic 

• Patient Population: Urgent and emergent walk-in patients, up to 16 patients per day 

• Assignment Dates: Start as soon as credentialing is completed 

• EMR: Cerner

Requirements: 

• State License: Alaska 

• Certifications: Nurse Practitioner license 

• Experience: Emergency Room experience required 

In this Role: 

As a Nurse Practitioner in this urgent care clinic in Copper River Basin, Alaska, you'll be handling a variety of urgent and emergent cases. The clinic is open Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM, with an expected workload of around 40 hours per week. You will manage 14-16 patients per day, with full support from a Medical Director via phone and access to emergency medicine support through a telehealth physician in Anchorage. This locums position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including 6.5 weeks of PTO, loan repayment options, and a retirement plan.
