The Accounting Intern will support the Accounting and Finance Department of an agricultural company by assisting with daily financial operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in agribusiness accounting and financial reporting related to agricultural production and distribution.
This position is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, or a related field who is interested in applying accounting principles within a production-based environment.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office and, in some cases, from a remote offsite location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The position is primarily sedentary and requires the use of hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. This position requires good manual dexterity and coordination with the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is an internship position designed for the summer semester, 10-12 weeks is the expected duration. Days and hours can change at the discretion of the Accounting Manager; though typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
