Key responsibilities include managing purchasing for client parts, processing accurate invoices, monitoring supplier performance, controlling freight costs, tracking spare parts backlog, and ensuring timely communication of shipping details to branches. The role involves completing reports, managing staff processes, ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery, and complying with export regulations. Collaboration with finance regarding credit and payment terms is essential, as is signing off on purchase orders up to $15,000.
Qualifications include 5+ years in a supply chain role, manufacturing experience preferred, extensive knowledge of export documentation and MRPII systems, and understanding of credit management. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, skilled in communication and negotiation, and able to build strong relationships.
