This position provides curriculum leadership and supports classroom instruction to ensure an aligned instructional program in the assigned subject area.
Qualifications include a Master's degree, valid Texas teaching certificate, and preferably Texas Mid-Management certification or TTESS appraiser certification.
Required experience includes at least five years of classroom teaching and two years in an administrative role is preferred.
Key responsibilities involve collaborating with staff to develop and supervise instructional programs, evaluating instructional materials, analyzing student achievement data, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
Additionally, the role involves planning staff development activities, observing classroom instruction, and facilitating communication with parents and community members.
There are no supervisory responsibilities, and the work requires maintaining emotional control under stress, with frequent travel and irregular hours.
