This role involves delivering exceptional customer service by accurately and promptly processing phone, email, or fax orders and responding to inquiries.
It supports outside sales efforts through effective communication, order management, and maintaining product knowledge.
The position requires courteous interaction with customers, using systems like AS400/EView to retrieve and update order and customer information, coordinate deliveries, and provide price quotes.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining order files, assisting sales staff, and participating in special projects.
The candidate should have strong interpersonal, phone, and PC skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and reliable attendance.
Preferred qualifications include experience with produce, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of experience.
