Description: Our client is currently seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager/REMOTE
Remote Cyber Security Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Remote Cyber Security Project Manager with 5-10 years of experience to oversee and manage large-scale Information Security projects. 
This role requires extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, along with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Formalize, plan, and drive the execution of complex projects implementing and maintaining information security and compliance initiatives. 
Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage stakeholders ranging from executives, department heads, and third-party contractors/consultants.
Negotiate through friction points, tailor communication as required, and proactively engage to drive results. 
Communication: Facilitate and drive project meetings, engage key stakeholders, and provide executive summaries, project status reports, and detailed meeting notes. 
Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
Risk Management: Identify project risks and issues, clearly define their impact, escalate as needed, and provide options for business leaders to mitigate risks. 
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. 
Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and effectively manage project scope.
Innovation: Anticipate challenges and provide innovative solutions to ensure successful project delivery. 
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management. 
Qualifications: Experience: 5-10 years of proven experience in managing large-scale projects, from initiation to closure. 
Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate project teams. Communication: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to facilitate effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in project management software and tools for planning, tracking, and reporting. 
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to maintain project documentation and deliverables. Multi-tasking: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
Primary Job Functions: Oversee and manage large-scale Information Security projects within the organization, ranging from security program implementations to software and IT infrastructure. 
Work closely with various stakeholders, including executive leadership, solutions architects, facility managers, and software development teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with the organization's business goals.
Manage complex projects that may involve multiple departments, teams, and external vendors. Navigate and resolve challenges, mitigate risks, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Apply project management methodologies in a dynamic enterprise environment.
