Job Title: Data Engineering Technical Lead
Job Duties: Architect end-to-end data solutions that integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance. Drive innovation by implementing emerging technologies and incorporating them into the data platform architecture where appropriate. Optimize data workflows to handle large data generated by connected commercial vehicles and manufacturing sensors. Lead the development of scalable, and robust data pipelines incorporating vehicle telemetry, sensor data, manufacturing systems, and customer data. Collaborate with data scientists, automotive engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex commercial vehicle data requirements into technical solutions. Implement coding standards, design patterns, and best practices. Mentor and guide data engineering teams to ensure adherence of company standards, and data quality.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or foreign degree equivalent and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate data modeling and administration experience. This must include:
· 7 years of experience writing complex SQL queries, functions, ETL pipeline, and building databases;
· 4 years of experience in extracting value from warranty, telematics, and diagnostics data;
· 4 years of experience in the Commercial Vehicle Industry;
· 4 years of experience with AWS Services, specifically: Lamba, ECS, VPC, Redshift, Glue, S3, IAM, CloudFront, CodePipeline, and API Gateway; and
· 4 years of hands-on programming experience with Python and PySpark.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
Salary: $157,528-$186,300/year. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
