Now hiring a Data Entry Clerk in Lafayette, LA, earning $16/hour on 1st shift.

Requirements include 5+ years of facility contract billing/management OR an associate's degree with 3+ years of Medical Billing, intermediate skills in MS Word/Excel, strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service. Knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Review receivables, pre-verification of payer types, and standby accounts
• Identify billable transports, prepare daily/monthly billings
• Post payments, reconcile deposits, review questionable payments, process refunds
• Handle inbound calls and correspondence related to facilities
• Prepare reports for management
