I am a recruiter specializing in Supply Chain Management and I am working with a food ingredient manufacturing company in the Chicago area recruiting for a Demand Planning Manager. Below is an overview:

Demand Planning Manager – Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Management, the Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 4 and developing and managing the forecasting and scheduling for customer orders.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with sales/marketing, procurement, strategic sourcing, and customer services
• Understand and interpret demand of customers, both short and long term
• Develop demand forecasts and create forecast models for customers

Minimum Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• BA/BS
• 5+ years of related experience preferred in food manufacturing
• Strong analytical skills
