We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer to develop mechanical structures and components using 3D modeling software.
Responsibilities include adapting inventory parts for new builds, owning design and analysis, creating detailed drawings, developing prototypes, and conducting testing and modifications.
Additionally, the role involves evaluating machine weight and stability, supporting sales with drawings, analyzing failures, and assisting in technical manual creation.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, FE certification, proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and experience with structural steel design and MRP/ERP systems.
This position is office-based, with occasional shop floor visits. Physical requirements include computer work and site inspections.
