We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer to design and analyze mechanical structures and components using 3D modeling software, primarily SolidWorks.
Responsibilities include adapting existing inventory parts for new builds, developing new products, creating detailed drawings, managing prototypes, and conducting testing and modifications based on results.
The role involves evaluating machine weight and stability, analyzing product failures, and supporting technical manuals.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, FE certification, proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and experience with welded steel structures and MRP/ERP systems.
This position is based in an office setting with occasional shop floor visits.
