Come work with a caring and dynamic team of professionals! Our skilled nursing facility is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee and guide kitchen staff in their daily responsibilities. 


Dietary Manager Essential Job Functions: 

  • Manages daily food service operations in accordance with current, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility. 
  • Manages food service employees  
  • Organizes staff working schedules. 
  • Carries out inventory management. 
  • Develops client-specific dietary programs and diverse eating options. 
  • Assists during resident discharge planning with the dietary portion of the resident's discharge. 
  • Manages meal planning, nutrition consulting, inventory control, budgeting and purchasing. 


Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Cook/Chef 
  • Supervisory or Leadership experience 
  • Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations 
  • Excellent communication skills
