WHO WE ARE:Firearms Policy Coalition is a team of passionate liberty and freedom advocates who love to fight for the People and their constitutionally guaranteed rights. Our members and supporters are energetic, informed, and passionate about their rights and freedom—we love our people! While we cover a lot of ground, we especially focus on rights protected under the First Amendment (free speech, etc.), Second Amendment (right to keep and bear arms), Due Process, and other important related issues. Our team members, attorneys, experts, and volunteers work to change the world through litigation, legal action, direct advocacy, grassroots, research, education, outreach, and other efforts. We are fiercely non-partisan. Our philosophy and core values (which some might describe as libertarian in nature) drives and forms the basis of all of our work. Successful candidates must have an appreciation and respect for our mission, culture, and members and supporters, including an absolute commitment to privacy and confidentiality.

  • We are a purpose-driven Team on a mission to promote and achieve maximum individual liberty and freedom
  • We believe that human rights and constitutionally enumerated liberty interests are more important than the government's interests
  • We believe that firearms (and arms, generally) are constitutionally-protected
  • We believe that free speech is a necessary part of a free society
  • We believe that the government is too large and grossly exceeding its constitutionally enumerated powers
  • We believe that there are far too many laws on the books
  • We believe that over-criminalization is a real problem
  • We think that advocacy should be impactful, honest, and rewarding

P.S.: If this position is not right for you but you think you can bring something seriously valuable and impactful to the table in another capacity, email apply[at]fpchq.org with a complete/up-to-date resume, at least 3 (each) professional and personal references, and a cover letter explaining: 1) what it is you think you can bring to the Team, 2) why you have what it takes, 3) why we should hire you, 4) why you want to join the FPC Team, 5) your salary/compensation requirements, and 6) work samples showing us what you can do.
