American National is seeking a Digital Market Manager for any of our locations (Springfield, MO; Glenmont, NY; Galveston, TX).  The Market Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing execution of digitalmarketing campaigns and programs that directly support expansion and growth of the organization’s products, services, and support for the field.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build a high-level of expertise in all aspects of digital marketing to our target audiences, including search advertising, social media, email marketing, online reputation management and SEO.
  • Create a comprehensive strategic digital marketing plan that supports the organization’s KPIs and brand strategy.
  • Secure annual budgets for digital marketing plan, allocating segments to individual projects, forecast and manage project expenses during execution.
  • Provide technical advice and direction to the project team during execution through kick off and regular status meetings with the creative team, technical resources, outside vendors, marketing operations, independent contractors and other key stakeholders.
  • Review results of programs/campaigns and create project adjustments or new projects to enhance those results while staying within budget.
  • Participate in regular presentations as well as written communications to socialize the status and results of new and existing campaigns and programs. Audiences could include internal stakeholders or the field.
  • Develop content for the field to instruct them on marketing systems, processes, developing their own marketing plans for execution, etc.
  • Maintain regular project status and supporting documentation on agent website.
  • Stay up to date on the company’s legal and compliance policies and procedures to ensure projects and programs are executed accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key strategic vendors, internal partners, and industry leaders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two or more years of experience
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills necessary to work with a wide variety of individuals, including external vendors, home office and the agency field force
  • Critical thinker with proven strategy development and implementation
  • Strong working knowledge of multi-channel marketing campaigns and platforms
  • Experience with Marketing Resource Management tools and managing project budgets preferred
  • Experience working with social media platforms, Google Ad network & Analytics, and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus
